Original tunes by architect James Ray Polk inspired by the music of Bill Monroe and the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright.

 

Most of the album was recorded at the Nancy Shepherd Inn in Winchester, Virginia. The Recording band:  David McLaughlin on banjo; Christopher Henry on lead guitar; Marshall Wilborn on bass; Malia Furtado on fiddle; Susan Winkeler on guitar; and James Polk on mandolin. 

 

Two tracks on the album were recorded at Free State Studio at Jones College in Ellisville, Mississippi with The Mississippi Sawyers:  Shelby Kemp on guitar, Alexis Frenette on fiddle, Jim Elledge on banjo, and James Polk on mandolin.
